Sri Chinmoy was a keen sportsman throughout his life. During his ashram years he was several times sprinting champion. He wrote many of his running experiences in a series of books called Run & Become.
Sri Chinmoy didn't begin painting until the mid 1970s - from then he created a prolific output of inspirational spiritual paintings numbering over 200,000.

About Sri Chinmoy
Sri Chinmoy dedicated his life to insipring humanity to further and greater heights. A spiritual guide to approx 6,000 students from around the world, he passed away in October 2007.
