Slow Calculations

Fortunately, today I took an oath that I would not get angry with my road crew, no matter what happened. At the second mile Sundar was supposed to give my split, but he couldn't calculate it fast enough. So as I ran by, he said, "Eight..." and then there was a big pause. After I had gone twenty metres he said, " Forty."
