Sports Pictures
Sri Chinmoy spent many hours a day on the sports field and developed into a champion athlete, winning the Ashram decathlon in 1958 and 1959. He was also awarded the Ashram's "Fastest Runner" trophy (through victories in the 100-metre sprint in annual competitions) for twelve consecutive years, 1948-60.
