Up one level

Sri Chinmoy has produced an enormous body of scholarship in addition to his many other creative outputs and services. His awe-inspiring outpouring of books, over 1600 to date, include poetry, essays, lecture transcripts, stories, plays and aphorisms. The wide span of philosophical and spiritual topics convey the richness of humanity’s age-old search for harmony and self-understanding. They serve as a bridge between East and West, and North and South. The literary output includes three dozen books on his main area of specialization: the traditions, patriots and spirituality of his native India, including commentaries on the words and work of Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore and Sri Aurobindo; some 16 books on the world’s religions, esp. Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity; two dozen books on peace and the United Nations; about a dozen plays and 28 books of short stories; 63 volumes of talks and essays, including a dozen volumes of university talks; over a hundred volumes of Questions and Answers and several hundred works of aphorisms & short poems. The majority of his publications are available online at www.srichinmoylibrary.com.
